NH CHICHESTER — Chichester Road Committee reviewed paving projects and scheduled equipment assessment. Three road projects were in progress with minor or no issues reported; Hillard Road received 600 feet of additional asphalt to the bridge due to icing concerns. The Road Advisory Committee and Capital Improvement Program Committee jointly scheduled a September 21 DPW yard tour to review equipment inventory and condition.
The committee planned town-wide culvert mapping using QGIS software and spring 2027 field work. Future paving candidates discussed included Lane Road, Hutchinson Road, and Smith-Sanborn Road, plus Police and Grange parking lots, with the committee noting that 2026 underspending allowed acceleration of additional projects.
