NH CHICHESTER — Select Board approves $73,981 accounts payable and abates taxes on three parcels. Chair Matt and Selectman Jeremy voted unanimously to abate $382 on one residential property for 2025 and $145 on another for 2024, plus all interest on a third tax bill sent to wrong address. The board spent significant time on Block 5 IT contract billing discrepancies involving a $120,000, three-year agreement and directed staff to locate missing vendor invoices that disappeared from the Select Board mailbox.
Camden National Bank proposal shows current interest earnings at 1.78 percent versus proposed 2.5 percent, an estimated $10,000 annual gain.
