NH CHICHESTER — Select Board approves EMS insurance contract and appoints two cemetery alternates. Chair Matt Stolnis and the Board voted unanimously to authorize Fire Chief Robinson to sign an Anthem EMS insurance reimbursement contract at a fixed 325 percent of Medicare and to appoint Peter Hammond and Gloria Beachy as Cemetery Trustee alternates. The Board also unanimously approved a fire alarm monitoring contract with BK Systems for $4,000 installation and $2,580 annually.
Building Inspector Matt Garside reported 87 permits year-to-date with approximately $19,000 in fees, ahead of last year, while Fire Chief Robinson reported 231 incidents including three major incidents: a structure fire at 16 Horse Corner Road with no working smoke detectors, a rollover extrication on Route 4, and a fatal motorcycle crash. Treasurer Robin LeBreton identified approximately $41,000 in encumbered funds and accounting adjustments requiring Board attention.
