Trustees plan tree removal, gravestone restoration for three cemeteries

NH CHICHESTER — Chichester Cemetery Trustees plan improvements across three cemeteries. Trustees Ruth Hammen and Brenda Boswak, meeting February 2, moved forward with tree-removal and restoration efforts. Contractor Joseph Beachy of Extol Tree Care LLC will submit an estimate for tree removal, tied to a Selectmen warrant article for 2026 town meeting.
Garry Kalajian of Ararat Forge is designing iron gates for Kaime Cemetery; Don Cotnoir of NH Monuments will estimate gravestone restoration work at Kaime, Pineground, and Edmunds-Stanyan cemeteries. The trustees also resolved an outstanding perpetual-care trust account for donor Madeline Kilmister.
