Select Board authorizes fire radio replacements and escalates code enforcement

NH CHICHESTER — Chichester Select Board escalates enforcement action at Horse Corner Road property. The board voted 2-1 to send a cease and desist letter to 245 Horse Corner Road for ongoing zoning violations, ordering the property owner to cease unauthorized activities immediately and warning of civil penalties starting at $275 for a first offense and $550 per day for subsequent violations. The board also unanimously approved $8,750 for Fire Department radio replacements from a dedicated trust fund and voted unanimously to cover a former employee's retirement contributions under state statute RSA 100-A due to an employer enrollment failure.
