Select Board Issues Cease and Desist on Horse Corner Road

NH CHICHESTER — Chichester Select Board votes 2-1 to issue cease and desist order for Horse Corner Road zoning violation. Board members Richard and Frank supported the order at 245 Horse Corner Road after public comment about abutters' complaints regarding commercial operations in a residential zone; Matt opposed. The board unanimously approved a fireworks permit renewal for Sparks Fly Fireworks at 93 Dover Road following the business sale, with motion by Selectman Stolnis.
Police updates included Officer Fieldhouse starting Police Academy and Officer Duddy failing to pass the entrance exam. The town received $7,442.88 reimbursement for 75 percent of hazard mitigation project costs.
